About Us

Our history

Our Mother, of multiple ethnicities, was born into a world with many struggles. Her Father died while our Grandmother was pregnant with our Mother in the Spring of 1931. Our Grandmother moved to New York City and gave birth to our Mother the Summer of 1931. Our Mother and her sibling were immediately placed into foster care for several years before they were reunited. Unfortunately, our Grandmother passed and our Mother and her siblings were placed into an orphanage. All siblings had a difficult upbringing but overcame and became successful kind people who paid it forward in multiple various ways. We want to continue the legacy and hope you will join us on this journey as we need to shine the light on these children and bring them "home"... to their very own castle.

Our history

With a commitment to social awareness, we help foster/orphaned youth realize that when they age out of the system at 18 years old, the world is their oyster. They are not defined by the family they are born into.

Our mission is:

Obtain a home on Lake James, North Carolina, to provide this population with the pleasure and relaxation of a vacation (both summer and winter sports);
Financially help them with their first day of school clothes in high school;
Provide resources to explore what do they want to be when they grow up and where do they want to live;
Financially help them with their first car purchase;
Financially help them with their housing needs when they age out at 18 years old; and
Financially help them with their down deposit on their first-time home purchase.
